Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Training is open to residents of Greene and Clinton Counties.  This seven-week, hands-on program focuses on environmental issues, state parks, wildlife and other areas of natural resources.   Once training is completed members volunteer 40 hours the first year teaching the values of Ohio’s natural resources to others in area parks.  Recertification the following year requires eight hours of advanced training and volunteering an additional 20 hours.  2010 program dates are still being finalized, check back or call for more information.  Cost is $150.00 and includes program materials.
A $50.00 non-refundable check or money order must accompany your application.  The remaining $100.00 is due the first day of class.  The check or money order should be made payable to OSU-Greene County Extension.
For more information, call OSU Extension Greene County at 937-372-9971 or e-mail Mills.35@cfaes.osu.edu
