                                                 CARTEENS stop light

The Carteen Program is conducted by the 4-H Program Assistant of the Greene County OSU Extension .

The CAR in Carteens stands for Caring And Responsible teens.  The Carteen Program is a traffic safety program for first-time juvenile traffic offenders.  The program's primary goal is to reduce the number of repeat juvenile offenders.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 18?  Would you like to save a friend's life?  Do you have three to four hours a month to help your friends become better drivers?  If you answered "yes" to one of these questions, then you have the time and interest to become a Carteen Volunteer.

If you have questions or would like information on this educational effort, please contact Kurt Wolfangel, 4-H Program Assistant, 937-372-9971.
