Welcome to OSU Extension, Greene County Office
Welcome!
The mission of OSU Extension is to engage people to strengthen their lives and communities through research-based educational programming.
We are an “extension” of The Ohio State University, as well as other land grant universities across the nation. Programs are offered in the areas such as 4-H and youth development, horticulture, financial education, food safety, safe use of pesticides, water quality, nutrition, sun safety, agronomy, estate planning, and much more. In addition, we offer programs in cooperation with many agencies, organization and volunteers.
Our audience is YOU – the citizens of Greene County and neighboring counties who are interested in any of the educational programs we offer. The programs are highlighted on individual web pages, which can be reached using the links on the left side of the page below County Topics.
Help and information is available online or by calling or stopping at our office located on the Greene County Fairgrounds, behind the grandstand.
Funding is provided by the Greene County Board of Commissioners, the State of Ohio, and the United States Department of Agriculture.
